Research
My research investigates the nature, determinants, and consequences of social inequality. Within this broader theme, my work focuses on two substantive topics: (1) determinants of partner selection and consequences of mate selection behavior for inequality in future generations and (2) inequalities in health, family formation, and education by race, and socioeconomic status, and immigration status.
